Sony Mint rumored for IFA announcement in August:
Sony is in the midst of sending out invitations for a press gathering on the eve of the annual IFA conference which takes place in Berlin this August. As to what they will be announcing is not official, however there's plenty of speculation. Rumored smartphones include such models as the LT29i Hayabusa, the Xperia J, and the Xperia SL. Also potentially on the agenda - the LT30p Mint.
Somehow, some way, the guys over at Mobile-review have already gotten their hands on the unannounced Sony smartphone and have given it a full-on review. According to them, the specs here include a 4.3-inch HD display (1280x720p), a Qualcomm dual-core MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. Powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the Mint looks ready to join conversations that include the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III.
We'll be watching the events of IFA closely as they unfold next month and look forward to plenty of Android announcements. Here's to hoping that U.S. residents get their hands on one or more of these devices!
