Sense UI 4.1 spotted in leaked Android 4.0.4 ROM for international HTC One X

Sense UI 4.1 spotted in leaked Android 4.0.4 ROM for international HTC One X:

A freshly leaked ROM for the international variant of the HTC One X has made its way online, bringing some new surprises with it. Aside from version 4.0.4 of Ice Cream Sandwich, a relatively minor upgrade
from ICS 4.0.3, the ROM also features the latest version of HTC Sense. Here’s what you can expect to see from Sense 4.1.

According to folks who have braved the 2.15.401.5 test ROM, the new Sense 4.1 runs faster than 4.0 and all-around more responsive, possibly due to the removal of some eye-candy 3D effects in the launcher. A smoother experience, probably not yet of buttery level, while scrolling through the home screens and opening the app drawer awaits. HTC has also tweaked the Live Wallpaper, making it a more lag-free affair.
Much to the delight of owners of the One series who aren’t best pleased with the loss of screen real estate when running third-party apps to accommodate the virtual menu bar, you can now hold down the multi-tasking button to get the menu option. Other notable changes include a new dedicated button to switch between the rear/front camera in Camera app, a button to cycle through tabs in the browser, boosted WiFi performance, and a better battery life.
It’s still unknown when HTC is planning to roll out the new firmware for the international One X, but there are whispers that August 18 is the date to mark down on your calendar. AT&T is already pushing a similar update (2.20.502.7) for One X owners via OTA, which brings the handset to Android 4.0.4, although Sense 4.1 is still absent.
