Samsung releases source codes for Galaxy Note 10.1

Samsung releases source codes for Galaxy Note 10.1:
It didn’t take long after the formal launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 for the Korean to release one of the things that developers and tinkerers would like to get their hands on the most first – the source code of the tablet.

Even though it hasn’t even been released in South Korea, the source code for two variants of the bigger brother of Galaxy Note can now be downloaded from Samsung’s Open Source Developer website, with both zip files coming in at 175MB in size. The source codes released are for the SHW-M480K and SHW-M480S Galaxy Note 10.1 models.
Android Police has done some researching and found that these are 3G models of the Galaxy Note 10.1 belonging to two different local carriers in the company’s home country. The SHW-M480K is destined for Korea Telecom, while the SHW-M480S will head to Southern Korean Telecom. It is likely the source code will not be compatible with the WiFi SHW-M480 model.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 will be released globally this month, and we should find out more details of the tablet’s North American launch on August 15. Since it is still weeks away from hitting retail stores, you can prepare for its arrival by downloading the source code now.
