HTC’s rumored 5-inch phone gets its name

HTC’s rumored 5-inch phone gets its name:
When you’re fighting for your life, it’s worth giving it your all and a little bit more. That’s apparently what HTC is doing, as it tries to pull out all the stops for the successor to its last flagship phone, the One X. We’ve seen reports that the phone may come with a 5-inch display, which should put it almost at mini-tablet
territory. Now, fresh information of the phone has leaked, which reveals its possible name and specs.
Stuff.tv has heard straight from Taiwan that the One X’s replacement will be known as the HTC Endeavor C2. It sounds more like a codename to these ears, so hopefully we’ll get something less wordy for the final name.
The source hinted that the HTC Endeavor C2 will use a 1.7GHz quad-core processor. This might be the same NVIDIA Tegra 3+ processor that is rumored to power another rumored device, the HTC One X+. We can also expect to see an improved battery (removable one, please?), more color options, and tailor-made Beats headset.
We’ve talked of the improved hardware, but what of the software? Like the rumored HTC One X+, it is likely that the phone will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.  Apart from that, HTC will introduce a new Clear Voice technology for the Endeavor C2, which improves call quality. We’re not sure how popular HTC Watch is, but the video-on-demand service apparently will be upgraded as well.
The leak surprisingly reveals the expected launch and price of the HTC Endeavor C2. According to the source, the phone will be launched at the latest on October 1, so there’s a chance that we’ll see it even sooner. Price-wise, it shouldn’t cost much more than the HTC One X, at least on contract.
So, a 5-inch phone with Tegra 3+. We can roll with that. What do you think?
