Sony’s next flagship smartphone leaked a month before launch

Sony’s next flagship smartphone leaked a month before launch:

Sony is known in the smartphone world for their quality products yet never manage to match the sales of the true giants such as Apple or Samsung. Their upcoming flagship has now been leaked just over a month in advance of its announcement currently scheduled for the 29th of August.

The Sony LT30p Mint has been given the preview treatment by Mobile-Review and confirms a list of specifications. It will have a 4.3 inch 1280 x 720 display but it still looks roughly the same size as the Samsung Galaxy S III which has a 4.8 inch display. The Mint has the same dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor as the North American HTC One X variants. Elsewhere there is 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage plus a MicroSD slot. Camera wise, the Mint will  have one of the largest sensors we have seen on a smartphone, weighing in at 13 MP.
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will be present out of the box – a first for Sony. Judging from Sony’s recent software updates, the upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean won’t be too far away either. Sony’s TimeScape UI is present as you might expect.
The Sony Mint should be available by September and is expected to be unofficially unveiled at a Sony press conference on the 29th of August. It is expected to retail for roughly £440.
