Apple Releases Additional Updates for Mountain Lion:
Apple has been busy putting together updates for its software and hardware products, to ensure that they work correctly with OS X Mountain Lion. So far, updates are available for the following:
Software Update
Voice updates are dependent on which system voices you have installed on
your Mac. To see which voices are installed, select System Preferences, Dictation & Speech, and then select the Text to Speech tab. The list of installed voices is in the System Voice drop-down menu. Not all voices are installed by default. If you want to add more voices, select "Customize" from the menu.
The SMC firmware update adds support for Power Nap, a new feature of Mountain Lion, to the recent versions of the MacBook Air and Retina MacBook Pro.
Software and firmware updates are available from the Software Update menu, located under the Apple menu. Many of the software updates will be provided through the Mac App Store, so don't be alarmed if the Mac App Store opens when you request software updates.
